Opening on October 30 this year, the annual 10-day Taranaki Rhododendron & Garden Festival is now in its 22nd year and will showcase more than 50 superb private and public gardens opening their gates to visitors.

Included among the gardens in this premier spring festival will be some 13 Gardens of Significance – the highest concentration of any such gardens in New Zealand. Another major draw card will be the landscape design installation – featuring a new design each year that aims to inspire and challenge!

There will also be a line up of workshops, guest speakers and events that will be revealed closer to the Festival running from October 30 until November 8, 2009.
