All Blacks vs France
7.35pm, 22 June 2013
Yarrow Stadium, New Plymouth
The All Blacks will play France at Yarrow Stadium, New Plymouth in 2013. The 22 June fixture will be the final game in the three match Steinlager Series scheduled to play out on New Zealand soil next year.
The International comes nineteen years after France last visited the province, having previously played Taranaki during their 1961, 1968 and 1984 New Zealand tours.
New Plymouth has an excellent track record hosting first class rugby fixtures, having held three Rugby World Cup 2011 games and two International Test matches in recent years. The 2013 Test will be the third time the All Blacks have played Test rugby in New Plymouth. In 2008 the All Blacks defeated Samoa in front of a jubilant sell-out crowd. Victory was repeated in 2010, as Ireland succumbed to a dominant New Zealand side.
The exceptional facilities at Yarrow Stadium will provide the ultimate venue come June, 2013. The All Blacks v France match will be a sell-out, based on the outstanding buy-in of the Taranaki community for previous first class games.
Further ticketing information, including an on-sale date for purchasing individual match tickets to the All Blacks versus France fixture will be made available in the coming weeks.
