- Yarrows Round the Mountain Cycle Challenge – this 150km circumnavigation of Mt Taranaki can be tackled solo or as part of a team (January)
- Taranaki Wine and Food Festival – celebrate the best of Taranaki (February)
- WOMAD – the World of Music and Dance brings a three-day multi-cultural festival to the iconic TSB Bowl of Brooklands (March)
