Close to 40 original oil paintings by Keith Anderson are on display and available to see by prior appointment. Keith H Anderson was born in Auckland, New Zealand. in 1930. He died in February 2003 , close by his beloved mountain, Mt Egmont/Taranaki. His passion for Taranaki's mountain began in his earliest school years when he lived in New Plymouth. It was strengthened in his teens when he biked to the top of its highest road. Since that time he has lived on the mountain, worked on it, climbed it and skied it. Keith has promoted the mountain and written about it, hosted visitors on the mountain and rescued people from it. Keith took pleasure in creating paintings of Mt Egmont/Taranaki and the surrounding region. His joy lives on in the legacy of his art. We have reprints available for sale.
