Russia will be playing USA on Thurday 15 September at Stadium Taranaki for Rugby World Cup 2011.
The Russian National Rugby Union team represent Russia and are governed by the Rugby Union of Russia.
Russia previously played as the Soviet Union, and as a combined CIS team in the early 1990s. However, since 1992 they have been playing as Russia.
The team will compete in their first Rugby World Cup in 2011.
Russia also compete in the Churchill Cup and the European Nations Cup.
Russia are currently ranked 19th in the International Rugby Board (IRB) World Rankings.
