GreenDrinks to showcase leading local business Back to 'Taranaki News'
7th July 2010

LaNuova is a well established Taranaki business, but how much do you know about them and their processes?  Laundries used to be dirty businesses but this GreenDrinks will give you a rare look inside the operations of LaNuova – who claim to be one of the most environmental launderers in the country!

  • How old is La Nuova Apparelmaster
  • What is the cleaning solvent perchloroethylene derived from?
  • What is the name of their modern washing machine?
  • How many litres of water does a) a household top loader use per kg of washing, b) a household front loader use per kg of washing, or c) La Nuova Apparelmaster use per kg of washing?
You might find some of those answers on their website, and you will definitely learn more about the sustainable approach LaNuova at the July GreenDrinks which has helped them to reduce their costs and increase their productivity while reducing negative environmental impacts.  Join us for a tour of their Inglewood site, car pooling is encouraged and can be coordinated by contacting Jo@sustainable.org.nz  Bring the correct answers on the night and go in the draw for a fantastic prize!
