Venture Taranaki’s first lunchtime speaker series event drew a large audience and focused on the last decade in the Taranaki regional economy. This 'decade of change' saw shifts in population, employment and business growth that didn’t always reflect the national picture and in many cases were substantially more positive. The next two events in the series will focus on the present and the future of the Taranaki regional economy.
“Taranaki’s economic situation is so important to both the shape and the fortunes of every business that operates in our region,” says Venture Taranaki Chief Executive Stuart Trundle.
“As the agency charged with the strategic growth of that economy, we are constantly looking at opportunities to take a more active role in its development and in how we ensure the region’s businesses are engaged and active in that work programme.”
Designed for the business community, professional sector and other interested parties, series events will be held at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery. Events will begin at 12.00 noon for 12.15 start and finish at 1.00pm. The next events are:
