1.10pm: Paul Hargreaves, Co-Founder, Datacom
Paul is a Hi-Tech flying Kiwi, recognised by his industry peers for not only co-founding one of our largest and most successful technology companies, Datacom, but for decades of service dedicated to advancing technology, science and business in New Zealand. Datacom is a privately owned company that was founded in Christchurch in 1965. With a long successful trading history, Datacom is consistently growing and profitable and has a track record of delivering innovative, value for money technology solutions. Datacom was the 2010 PricewaterhouseCoopers Hi-Tech Company of the Year.
1.45pm: Scott Bradley, Chief Executive, Vouchermob
Scott has a proven track record of building successful technology companies. Before founding Vouchermob and while living in the UK for 10 years Scott co-founded Utilyx, the UK’s largest online retail energy brokerage. Utilyx won Microsoft's Internet Business of the Year with trades in excess of £5bn in energy. VoucherMob is a powerful marketing tool for businesses wanting to directly incentivise consumers to buy from them. VoucherMob seeks to deliver a low-cost, accountable solution using best-in-class marketing, technology and design in order to help our clients maximise sales. VoucherMob won the Hi-Tech Awards 2011 Ministry of Science and Innovation Best Hi-Tech Start-up 2011.
3.05: Andrew Cardno, Chief Technology Officer, BIS2
Andrew is BIS2‘s Chief Technology Officer. He is recognized as a 'data visualization' visionary, with a track record of creating leading data visualization business intelligence software.BIS2‘s vision is to create state-of-the-art technology that enables human capability. BIS2‘s goal is to deliver Business Intelligence software that allows massive amounts of data to be visually presented in a way that is easy to understand and useful. BIS2‘s corporate headquarters are located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, with representative offices in Europe, the United States and New Zealand. BIS2‘s were finalists in Hi-Tech Awards 2011.
3: 40: Craig Richardson, Chief Executive, Jade
Craig joined Jade Software Corporation as Chief Executive in March 2009. Prior to this, he was Chief Financial Officer for ASX-listed anchor bottler, Coca-Cola Amatil in New Zealand and before joining Coca-Cola Amatil, Craig was vice president of Finance for BlueScope Steel’s integrated manufacturer New Zealand Steel. Jade Software designs and develops next generation applications and builds high-performance data management. Jade has recently released JOOB. JOOB is a family of products solving hard business problems in mobile integration, operational intelligence and data.
4.20pm: Anthony Doesburg ,freelance technology writer
Anthony is a freelance technology writer. He has been writing about technology for a couple of decades, first for Computerworld, and now for a range of publications including the New Zealand Herald in which he has a weekly column. Anthony won the SwayTech Journalist of the Year in 2010 and 2011.
