UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) has launched the UK Market Entry (UK-ME) business competition to assist Kiwi companies eager to expand into the UK. The competition is supported by New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, HSBC and Oury Clark.
UK-ME offers New Zealand companies the chance to win business support packages worth up to $50,000. These packages include:
Complimentary London return airfares
Meetings with potential business partners, contacts and networks
Free PAYE, VAT and Company Registration and immigration assistance
Ongoing UKTI and NZTE support
To enter UK-ME, go to http://www.ukmenz.co.uk and register your interest by Thursday 16th September. You are then required to submit a 2-3 page executive summary outlining your plans for UK market entry by Friday 15th October.
The competition is free to enter and companies must be New Zealand registered and have minimum 50% New Zealand ownership.
