TechNZ are now inviting companies to register their interest to take part in the 2010 Undergraduate Internship Programme.
This programme supports undergraduate science, technology and engineering students to undertake projects with both small and large companies active in research and development. For the 2010/2011 university summer (November to February), TechNZ will support 185 senior undergraduate students to undertake internships with innovative New Zealand companies.
The TechNZ Undergraduate Internship Programme encourages companies to employ senior undergraduate students (3rd and 4th or final year students) to participate in science, technology or engineering research and development projects, by providing funding to the company to employ the student for up to 400 hours at $16.00 + GST/hour over the university summer break.
As the TechNZ Regional Partner for Taranaki, Venture Taranaki is available to assist you with the registration process and if necessary, find an appropriate undergraduate student, preferably with a Taranaki connection.
Interest must be registered by the 10th of September.
