The second in the series, today's session continued to look at the growth of the region's economy with a particular focus on the work-live balance of Taranaki's workforce. These changing patterns of where Taranaki's population lives and works gave the audience considerable food for thought on how the region is not a number of distinct self-contained centres, but rather one integrated work-live zone.

The presentation followed on from the first event in the series which looked at the transformation of the regional economy from 2000 to 2009.
The third in the series will look to the future of the region, and is scheduled for 10 September 2010.
